Ashley Fertig, Esq.
Ashley Fertig is an Associate at Kommer Bave & Ciccone LLP, where she practices in the fields of matrimonial and family law. Ashley handles all aspects of litigation, including analyzing discovery, conducting depositions, drafting motions and memorandums, negotiating agreements, and advocating zealously for her clients in the Courtroom. Ashley understands the unique emotional needs of her clients, which allows her to represent her clients both with tenacity as well as compassion.
Prior to joining Kommer Bave & Ciccone, LLP, Ashley worked for a boutique law firm practicing in the fields of matrimonial and family law in New York City and Long Island. Before her time as a private practitioner, Ashley served as the Assistant Law Clerk to Hon. Jeffrey A. Goodstein, Supervising Judge, Supreme Court and Matrimonial Parts, Nassau County, New York.
Ashley is a member and district representative for the Executive Committee of the New York State Bar Association, Family Law Committee. She is also a member of the Westchester County Bar Association and Westchester Women’s Bar Association.
Ashley graduated from Brooklyn Law School cum laude, where she served as co-chair of the Brooklyn Law Students for the Public Interest (“BLSPI”), the largest student organization on campus, and participated in several matrimonial and family law-related clinics and internships. She received her Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude in Political Science with a minor in Spanish from the State University of New York at Buffalo and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
