Ashley Fertig is an Associate at Kommer Bave & Ciccone LLP, where she primarily practices in the fields of matrimonial and family law. With over a decade of experience, Ashley handles all aspects of litigation, including analyzing discovery, conducting depositions, drafting motions and memorandums, negotiating agreements, and advocating zealously for her clients in the Courtroom. Ashley understands the unique emotional needs of her clients, which allows her to represent her clients both with tenacity as well as compassion.

Prior to joining Kommer Bave & Ciccone LLP, Ashley worked for a boutique law firm practicing exclusively in the fields of matrimonial and family law in New York City and Long Island. Before her time as a private practitioner, Ashley served as the Assistant Law Clerk to Hon. Jeffrey A. Goodstein, Supervising Judge, Supreme Court and Matrimonial Parts, Nassau County, New York.

Ashley serves as Co-Chair for the Matrimonial Committee of the Westchester Women’s Bar Association and is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Family Law Committee and the Westchester County Bar Association. She has been named as a New York Metro Rising Star by Super Lawyers every year from 2021 to present.

Ashley graduated from Brooklyn Law School cum laude, where she served as co-chair of the Brooklyn Law Students for the Public Interest (“BLSPI”), the largest student organization on campus. She received her Bachelor of Arts, summa cum laude in Political Science with a minor in Spanish from the State University of New York at Buffalo and is a member of Phi Beta Kappa.
